Can i use a character from another system / group / etc.

At Games Unbound, our stories are not only one-off adventures, they are part of an entire world we create and shape together. As such, we cannot take characters from outside of our world. That said, we’re happy to help you create a character with a similar concept to one from another group, but we may need to make changes depending on the system and the specific rules & story of our world.

We will not use any characters, equipment, or custom creations that was not created by one of our expert DMs or collaboratively with one of our expert DMs.

If you have a character concept that doesn’t quite work with the rules of the game, we are happy to work with you to try and make it happen as much as we are able!

My son has been adventuring with Games Unbound since they started and he couldn’t be happier. Not only are his weekly games the highlight of his week but his friends have also joined in and they are all equally as engaged in their adventures. The highlight for him was an in person adventure for his birthday. It was without a doubt the best birthday he ever had and many of the kids who also participated thought the same. The game master was able to keep five 8 and 9 year olds not only engaged but also enthralled. I am quite sure they would have kept going and going if we let them.

Having this outlet for him during the shutdown has been a lifeline of normalcy and creativity in what has been a very stressful time. He is so engaged in his characters and adventures and can’t wait to explain to me what has happened and what might happen next.

I have been playing role playing games for almost forty years and I can say without reservation that the people at Games Unbound are masters in their craft. They are witty, engaging story tellers and most importantly they know how to manage the children playing the game to give them an entertaining, rich experience without them completely losing control.

It is a testament to their abilities that my son and all of his friends continue to ask for another group of sessions month after month.

I could not recommend their services higher and would suggest them to anyone from seasoned gamers to the earliest novice.
